Brief description of the position :
In order to meet the needs of its clients in the IT sector, FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for network architect consultants motivated to carry out mandates. The main missions would be to maintain and modernize the network infrastructures, as well as to coordinate and monitor the various projects.
Main responsibilities :
Without limitation, the main tasks involve:
- Manage Responsible for updating and modernizing network infrastructures;
- Design the network architecture taking into account technological developments and organizational needs;
- Perform risk analyzes for network infrastructure maintenance and modernization projects;
- Define the project plan (budget, timelines, deliverables, etc.) with the project teams;
- Search for suppliers and evaluate the quality/price ratios of technological components;
- Lead the implementation phases related to infrastructure maintenance and modernization and ensure follow-up;
- Participate in the review and renewal of service contracts with subcontractors;
- Support the teams in the management of problems and incidents by taking steps to ensure the continuity of operations;
- Act as an expert and be the first technical responder;
- Participate in weekly meetings to follow the progress of the work.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, networks, engineering (computer science, software), or any other related discipline;
- 3 (three) to 10 (ten) years of experience in the field of IT;
- At least 3 (three) years of experience as a network architect;
- Relevant experience in network infrastructure;
- Excellent knowledge of computer security;
- Expertise with the following technologies and tools: switches, routers, wireless network, Cisco;
- Knowledge of the network environment WFI, LAN, VLAN, VPN, etc.;
- Good communication and writing skills in French and English;
